Assistant Professor at the College of Charleston, Tammy Ingram received her Ph.D. from Yale University in 2007.
Dr. Ingram was awarded a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Southern Studies from the Center for the Study of the American South at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 2010-2011.
Her book, Dixie Highway: Road Building and the Making of the Modern South, 1900-1930, will be published by UNC Press in Spring 2014. She is working on a new book about the murder of Albert Patterson in Phenix City, Alabama in 1954 and the Dixie Mafia.
