Rebecca Sive is president of the Sive Group, Inc., which counsels executives and organization on women and politics, women’s reproductive rights and economic security, and the intersection of race and gender in American life. In 2013, her inspirational and how-to book for aspiring political women will be published by Chicago Review Press. Sive also writes for Huffington Post Politics. Listed in Feminists Who Changed America: 1963-1975, she has won numerous awards for her work, including distinguished achievement awards from hery alma maters, the University of Illinois and Carleton College. She was the chair of NARAL Pro-Choice America Foundation's Board of Directors in its formative years; a founder of Emily's List in Illinois; and has advised numerous organizations, candidates, and donors regarding their reproductive rights work.
