I recently came across your article titled The Cherokee Rose, posted in Like The Dew. I enjoyed the article but the main reason I came across
the article was that I was attracted to the photograph of the Cherokee Rose imbedded in the article.

I was attracted to it because it was a photograph I took at the Dallas Arboretum back in 2009.   It can be found in my Flickr account at the following address.

I have a number of photos posted on web sites around the world as well as in several books and scientific articles ~ I am always happy to allow individuals to use my photos ~ even at no charge ~ however I do simply ask that they either allow a link back to the photo in my Flickr account or at a minimum post my name so that I get credit for the photo.

I’m pleased that someone enjoyed the photo, I simply ask that either a link to the original in my Flickr account be added or at least give credit to me for the photo.   My main goal as a photographer is to attract others to the beautiful nature that surrounds us each and every day ~ it is my hope that if they are attracted to one of my images they will follow the link to one of my photography sites so that they can enjoy others.

    Thank you, Bron Praslicka

Bron -- Thank you for letting us have a 2nd chance. None of us remembers the details of the posting and how it came to be unattributed. Our intention has always been to do things right -- especially, when it comes to protecting copyrights. Way back when, we weren’t as formal in our approach; way back when, we experimented with methods to attribute that also formatted correctly on our pages -- especially with photo captions; since “way back when” we have made tens of thousands of changes to the site — and forgot to go back and view the unintended consequences of a format change. We will start going back through -- beginning with your photo -- and make things right.
