Before landing I knew this would be an extraordinary trip. My flight from Frankfurt to Kolkata (formerly Calcutta) was overbooked. I was bumped and rescheduled on a flight connecting through Mumbai (formerly Bombay). An hour before landing in Mumbai, the pilot announced that a terrorist attack was underway and our plane was being diverted to Delhi.
