So far, LikeTheDew.com has not accepted paid advertising, but we are open to it.
Here’s why we haven’t:
LikeTheDew.com is still pretty new (we started in March, 2009). While we have grown every month in unique visitors, page views and site rankings*, we do not believe we are at the place to demand sufficient advertising rates to make it worthwhile for LikeTheDew.com or typical advertisers.
On the other hand, we recognize that our readers are pretty special. Smart. Interesting. Influential. Loyal. And, likely decent consumers. Your company may feel that reaching Dew readers on our site with an ad, a sponsored promotion, or via our Dewsletter would be worthy of a price not exclusively determined by cost-per-thousand. If you do, please contact us to discuss how, and at what price, it can work for you and LikeTheDewers.
What about the Dew Shops?
Good question. We have entered into affiliate agreements with each of the showcased merchants where they send us a commission on any sale they make when a LikeTheDew.com reader clicks on a link from our Dew Shops. They also honor and pay on that link for up 90 days after a reader has clicked. That way, they get what they pay for and so do we. If your company is interested in an affiliate relationship with the Dew, please contact us.
